Woodville Park
UNDER DEVELOPMENT -
NOT YET OPEN BUT GETTING CLOSE!
The park is approximately 100 acres in size –
that’s 20 times the size of Gloucester Point Beach Park!
It is
located in Ordinary off of Bray’s Point Rd. The park was once part of a plantation or farm called
“Woodville.”
This
new nature park contains both wetlands and woodlands. While not offering
athletic facilities, this passive park will allow visitors to enjoy the
surrounding wildlife through walking trails, gardens and possibly an
amphitheater.
The
park land was a gift to Gloucester County by the Lanciano Family.
We are now in the
process of planning the layout and uses of the park.
