The PR&T Department and the Gloucester Historical Committee are helping children learn more about Pocahontas. The Festival will include several activities for children and Gloucester County 4th grade students will have an opportunity to earn extra credit by participating in a passport program. Information will be provided to the students in late October/early November.
On November 14th – through a partnership with the Cook Foundation and Gloucester County Public Schools, all 4th graders will attend a performance from the Virginia Repertory Theatre at TC Walker Education Center.
Scavenger Hunt – pick up a passport at Botetourt Saturday morning at the Pocahontas Festival, visit the stations and hunt for clues. Bring back the completed passport by the end of the day and get a chance to win a prize!
